Work and School
Dan Brooks is a graduate student in Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Iowa, where he studies Vision, Learning, and Memory with Ed Wasserman. He did his undergrad work at Tufts University, studying Psychology and the Classics, where he worked with Bob Cook.
His research includes experimental work with pigeons, humans, bonobos, and most recently, rats.

Baseball
A native of Boston, Dan is a Red Sox fan. He posts frequently on the Sons of Sam Horn baseball forums. His fiancee, Marilyn, an avid Red Sox fan from Everett, MA., still wears her pink hat proudly.
