Kevin Hart

Pittsburgh Pirates

Pitch Repertoire At-A-Glance

Although they have not thrown an MLB pitch in 2024, Kevin Hart threw 2,128 pitches that were tracked by the PITCHf/x system between 2007 and 2009, all of them occuring in the MLB Regular Season. In 2009, they relied primarily on their Sinker (92mph), Fourseam Fastball (93mph) and Curve (80mph), also mixing in a Slider (87mph). He also rarely threw a Change (86mph).

In 2009, compared to other RHP:
Their sinker has less armside run than typical and has some natural sinking action. Their fourseam fastball has less armside movement than typical, has some natural sinking action, has essentially average velo and results in somewhat more flyballs compared to other pitchers' fourseamers. Their curve is slightly harder than usual and results in somewhat more flyballs compared to other pitchers' curves. Their slider is basically never swung at and missed compared to other pitchers' sliders, results in more flyballs compared to other pitchers' sliders and has less than expected depth. Their change is slightly firmer than usual and results in somewhat more flyballs compared to other pitchers' changeups.
