Chicago Cubs
Although they have not thrown an MLB pitch in 2025, Lucas Luetge threw 5,969 pitches that were tracked by the PITCHf/x system between 2012 and 2024, including pitches thrown in the MLB Regular Season and Spring Training. In 2024, they relied primarily on their Cutter (86mph) and Slider (77mph), also mixing in a Curve (75mph). He also rarely threw a Sinker (85mph).
In 2024, compared to other LHP:
Their cutter has heavy sink and has sweeping cut action. Their slider comes in below hitting speed, sweeps across the zone, has exceptional depth and results in somewhat more flyballs compared to other pitchers' sliders. Their curve has an exceptional bite, generates an extremely high number of swings & misses compared to other pitchers' curves, results in somewhat more flyballs compared to other pitchers' curves, has slight glove-side movement and has slightly below average velo. Their sinker (take this with a grain of salt because they've only thrown 9 of them in 2024) is so slow that it is substantially gravitational, is basically never swung at and missed compared to other pitchers' sinkers, is an extreme flyball pitch compared to other pitchers' sinkers, has surprisingly little armside run and has some natural sinking action.
