Detroit Tigers
Although they have not thrown an MLB pitch in 2026, Enmanuel De Jesus threw 3,830 pitches that were tracked by the PITCHf/x system between 2022 and 2023, including pitches thrown in the MLB Regular Season, The World Baseball Classic and Spring Training. In 2023, they relied primarily on their Fourseam Fastball (93mph), also mixing in a Sinker (93mph), Change (86mph), Curve (80mph) and Slider (85mph). He also rarely threw a Cutter (89mph) and Slow Curve (70mph).
In 2023, compared to other LHP:
Their fourseam fastball has some natural sinking action and has slightly above average velo. Their sinker generates a high number of swings & misses compared to other pitchers' sinkers, results in many more groundballs compared to other pitchers' sinkers, has less armside run than typical and has slightly above average velo. Their change is much firmer than usual and has some natural sink to it. Their curve is much harder than usual, has little depth, has primarily 12-6 movement and results in somewhat more flyballs compared to other pitchers' curves. Their slider results in somewhat more flyballs compared to other pitchers' sliders. Their cutter is a real worm killer that generates an extreme number of groundballs compared to other pitchers' cutters, generates fewer whiffs/swing compared to other pitchers' cutters, has well above average velo, has little cutting action and has some natural sink. Their slow curve is a real yakker that's separated from their other curveball due to its big drop and slow speed.
