Non-MLB
Although they have not thrown an MLB pitch in 2025, Zac Lowther threw 1,208 pitches that were tracked by the PITCHf/x system between 2021 and 2024, including pitches thrown in the MLB Regular Season, Spring Training and Fall/Winter Ball. In 2024, they relied primarily on their Fourseam Fastball (89mph) and Curve (75mph), also mixing in a Change (81mph). He also rarely threw a Slider (81mph).
In 2024, compared to other LHP:
Their fourseam fastball has below average velo, generates more whiffs/swing compared to other pitchers' fourseamers, results in more flyballs compared to other pitchers' fourseamers and has slight armside run. Their curve has sweeping glove-side movement, has a sharp downward bite, results in somewhat more flyballs compared to other pitchers' curves and has slightly below average velo. Their change results in more flyballs compared to other pitchers' changeups. Their slider (take this with a grain of salt because they've only thrown 8 of them in 2024) is basically never swung at and missed compared to other pitchers' sliders, results in more flyballs compared to other pitchers' sliders and has some two-plane movement.
