Is there anyone who can help me with an issue I'm having in my attempt to build a pitch f/x database? I've been working on trying to set one up using Mike Fast's tutorial from a few years ago. The (updated) spider script and database structure he provided work fine, but when I try to run his XML-to-database parser script, I get the message "DBD::mysql::st execute failed: Field 'pitcher_seq' doesn't have a default value at db_parser.txt line 539." (I'm guessing this means something in the parser doesn't match up with the database structure?) I've tried a couple of his most recent scripts and get the same message each time. If anyone has done this before and could help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
