Their fourseam fastball comes in below hitting speed, has heavy sinking action, has an obvious tail and generates fewer whiffs/swing compared to other pitchers' fourseamers. Their slider comes in below hitting speed, generates fewer whiffs/swing compared to other pitchers' sliders, has short glove-side cut, results in somewhat more flyballs compared to other pitchers' sliders and has some two-plane movement.
