Pitch Repertoire At-A-Glance

Although they have not thrown an MLB pitch in 2024, Nick Kingham threw 2,331 pitches that were tracked by the PITCHf/x system between 2018 and 2019, all of them occuring in the MLB Regular Season. In 2019, they relied primarily on their Fourseam Fastball (92mph), also mixing in a Curve (80mph), Change (85mph), Cutter (90mph) and Sinker (90mph). He also rarely threw a Slider (82mph).

In 2019, compared to other RHP:
Their fourseam fastball has much less armside movement than typical, has some natural sinking action and has essentially average velo. Their curve has a sharp downward bite and is slightly harder than usual. Their change has slight armside fade and has some natural sink to it. Their cutter has slightly above average velo and has some natural sink. Their sinker generates an extremely high number of swings & misses compared to other pitchers' sinkers, has less armside run than typical, results in somewhat more flyballs compared to other pitchers' sinkers, has slightly below average velo and has some natural sinking action. Their slider (take this with a grain of salt because they've only thrown 14 of them in 2019) is basically never swung at and missed compared to other pitchers' sliders, has exceptional depth and is an extreme flyball pitch compared to other pitchers' sliders.
