New York Mets
Although they have not thrown an MLB pitch in 2023, Denyi Reyes threw 197 pitches that were tracked by the PITCHf/x system in 2022, all of them occuring in the MLB Regular Season. In 2022, they relied primarily on their Fourseam Fastball (93mph), Slider (80mph) and Change (85mph), also mixing in a Curve (75mph).
In 2022, compared to other RHP:
His fourseam fastball has essentially average velo. His slider comes in below hitting speed, is a real worm killer that generates an extreme number of groundballs compared to other pitchers' sliders, generates fewer whiffs/swing compared to other pitchers' sliders and has short glove-side cut. His change results in somewhat more flyballs compared to other pitchers' changeups and has some natural sink to it. His curve (take this with a grain of salt because he's only thrown 17 of them in 2022) results in more flyballs compared to other pitchers' curves and has slightly below average velo.
