Easton McGee

Milwaukee Brewers

Pitch Repertoire At-A-Glance

Although they have not thrown an MLB pitch in 2024, Easton McGee threw 652 pitches that were tracked by the PITCHf/x system between 2022 and 2023, including pitches thrown in the MLB Regular Season and Spring Training. In 2023, they relied primarily on their Sinker (92mph) and Slider (80mph), also mixing in a Fourseam Fastball (91mph), Curve (77mph), Cutter (88mph) and Change (85mph).

In 2023, compared to other RHP:
Their sinker has an obvious tail, generates fewer whiffs/swing compared to other pitchers' sinkers and has some natural sinking action. Their slider comes in below hitting speed and sweeps across the zone. Their fourseam fastball generates an extremely high number of swings & misses compared to other pitchers' fourseamers, results in more flyballs compared to other pitchers' fourseamers, has some natural sinking action and has slightly below average velo. Their curve generates fewer whiffs/swing compared to other pitchers' curves, results in many more groundballs compared to other pitchers' curves and has slight glove-side movement. Their cutter results in more flyballs compared to other pitchers' cutters, has surprisingly little cutting action and has some natural sink. Their change is basically never swung at and missed compared to other pitchers' changeups, dives down out of the zone, results in more flyballs compared to other pitchers' changeups and has slight armside fade.
