Chicago Cubs
Ethan Roberts has thrown 2,774 pitches that have been tracked by the PITCHf/x system between 2022 and 2026, including pitches thrown in the MLB Regular Season, The World Baseball Classic and Spring Training. In 2026, they have relied primarily on their Slider (84mph) and Cutter (93mph), also mixing in a Sinker (94mph).
In 2026, compared to other RHP:
Their slider sweeps across the zone, has exceptional depth and results in somewhat more flyballs compared to other pitchers' sliders. Their cutter is blazing fast, has good "rise" and has little cutting action. Their sinker has less armside run than typical, has slightly above average velo and has some natural sinking action.
