Jesse Litsch

Toronto Blue Jays

Pitch Repertoire At-A-Glance

Although they have not thrown an MLB pitch in 2024, Jesse Litsch threw 5,739 pitches that were tracked by the PITCHf/x system between 2007 and 2011, all of them occuring in the MLB Regular Season. In 2011, they relied primarily on their Fourseam Fastball (90mph), Slider (84mph) and Sinker (90mph), also mixing in a Change (83mph). He also rarely threw a Curve (78mph) and Cutter (90mph).

In 2011, compared to other RHP:
Their fourseam fastball has much less armside movement than typical, has below average velo and has some natural sinking action. Their slider has some two-plane movement. Their sinker has less armside run than typical, results in somewhat more flyballs compared to other pitchers' sinkers and has slightly below average velo. Their change has surprising cut action and dives down out of the zone. Their curve is basically never swung at and missed compared to other pitchers' curves and has a sharp downward bite. Their cutter (take this with a grain of salt because they've only thrown 1 of them in 2011) is basically never swung at and missed compared to other pitchers' cutters, is an extreme flyball pitch compared to other pitchers' cutters, has surprisingly little cutting action, has good "rise" and has slightly above average velo.
