Although they have not thrown an MLB pitch in 2024, Zac Reininger threw 1,092 pitches that were tracked by the PITCHf/x system between 2017 and 2019, all of them occuring in the MLB Regular Season. In 2019, they relied primarily on their Fourseam Fastball (95mph), Sinker (93mph) and Slider (84mph), also mixing in a Curve (81mph). He also rarely threw a Change (85mph).

Their slider is basically never swung at and missed compared to other pitchers' sliders, has short glove-side cut, results in somewhat more flyballs compared to other pitchers' sliders and has some two-plane movement. Their curve is slightly harder than usual. Their change results in more flyballs compared to other pitchers' changeups and has some natural sink to it.
